Christine Johnson

Communications and Events Manager

Ms. Johnson brings over a decade of event planning and marketing experience to TEDCO. Her career began in sales and marketing for Latham Hotels in Baltimore, District of Columbia, and Philadelphia, providing marketing research, developing promotional collateral, and innovative campaigns. She then went on to lend her talents to the non-profit sector, working for the American Psychological Association and National School Boards Association implementing educational programming for their annual conferences, traveling nationally to promote their member services, and spearheading online initiatives for members.

Additionally, her professional experience includes entrepreneurial endeavors as founder and creator of a visual arts gallery in Miami, Florida which continues to thrive since 2003, as well as being a successful owner of an event planning company five years.

She holds a bachelor of arts in psychology, with an emphasis in psychological research from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She has been certified as a Conflict Mediator and holds the title of Past-Board Member for Youth Warriors Environmental Justice Organization, Past Committee Member for the DuBois Business Summit in Prince George’s County Maryland, and Past National Committee Member for National Association for Blacks in Bio.
